What the hell is a Grunch?

The Grunch is that little monster inside you that erupts when you are confronted by a limp salad, a snooty waiter, or a bad haircut. Grunches come in all shapes in sizes…and the worse your service is nastier they are. Grunchable.com is a place where you can let your inner Grunch roam free…share your worst service experiences, so that others can learn from your misfortunes…or at least get a good laugh out of them.

Grunchable was started by a team of three disgruntled customers who were tired of bad service. Honestly, we just wanted a place to vent…but also, we saw the need for a neutral ground where customers could voice their opinions. After all, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

What do I do with this Grunchable….thing?

Well…here’s the short version: write bad reviews.

Bad service happens….and it sucks. But lets be honest, there’s usually not much you can do about it. Sure you can always “Ask for the manager,” and every now and then you might get your sneeze muffin for free. And ranting on those ‘How was our service’ cards probably isn’t helping either. (Seriously, who do you think reads those things?)

Grunchable.com hopes to change that by giving you a place to tell us how bad it really is. When your cab driver took you on a 30-mile detour or you spent three hours on hold with your cell phone provider—we want to hear about it.

By putting a spotlight on the bad stuff, we hope to make companies more accountable for the services they provide—likewise, we want you to know what spots to avoid (or at least what to expect.)
